Valentine’s and Family Day Special

Our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. A medium roast. The first coffee we ever roasted on our big roaster and still Thor's favourite. Oh that sweet intoxicating aroma when you grind it fresh in the morning.

After a lot of experimenting, cupping, some public taste testing and then trying again, we finally came up with an Espresso blend we are proud to call our own. This blend is maybe not roasted quite as dark as you might think but it makes for a rich cup of Espresso (or just regular coffee, prepared the way you like it). Deep, earthy undertones with a good body, this is blended from 100% Arabica beans.

Riverside reading series supports and provides a place where writers of all ages and professional levels can gather and present their work. We are proud to have supported the Riverside Reading Series since inception and we donate a percentage of the proceeds from every bag sold to this wonderful organization.

A custom blend for our super talented musician friends at Checkerboard Floors (checkerboardfloors.com). $2.00 from every bag sold will be donated to Guitars for Kids (Waterloo), a registered not-for-profit that collects and repairs guitars and gets them into the hands of kids that may otherwise not have access to one. Also available as a subscription. We had to make this roast checkered of course! A 50/50 blend of one of the darkers roasts (Carnaval de Cafe) and one of our lighter roasts (Buna Dabo Naw). It's the perfect blend!
